Help us overcome unexpected Medical, Family and Home costs
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
Life can be unpredictable. This past year has brought our family more challenges than we ever expected. We are reaching out for support during these difficult times as we attempt to navigate through the following hardships:
Medical Challenges: My wife and I were married just last year, starting our life together with so much hope and joy. Unfortunately, she was recently diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, a chronic and debilitating illness that requires ongoing treatment and care. The medical bills have been piling up, adding to our financial stress.
Family Responsibilities: My mother, who has always been a cornerstone of our family, was recently diagnosed with an incurable cancer, Stewart-Treves syndrome. She is a breast cancer survivor and after 10 years of being considered cancer-free, she received this new diagnosis. She has chosen to go into hospice, requiring constant attention and support. I have been traveling long distances frequently to be with her and help manage her bills, which has added significantly to our expenses. We are also trying to provide stability for our teenage children during this time of upheaval. Providing for their needs has been increasingly difficult with the financial and emotional challenges we’re facing.
Home Repairs: Our home, which should be a place of refuge, needs a roof replacement. Unfortunately, this crucial repair is not covered by our current insurance. We're extremely overwhelmed by this crushing expense that we simply can't afford.
Financial Strain: Between medical bills, travel expenses, and home repairs, our debts have been growing faster than we can manage. We are trying our best to stay afloat, but with so many unexpected costs, it's impossible to keep up.
